I’m not a pet photographer…

I definitely don’t consider myself a pet photographer by any means.  If I want unpredictability in a picture, I usually stick with children, toddlers, and the occasional father who is only getting his picture taken under duress.  However, I Heart Faces is having a photo challenge involving animals and I do enjoy a challenge. Since my son is taking horseback riding lessons for the first time this week, a door was opened to photograph a different type of pet from the typical puppy or kitty I might find for an animal picture. I wouldn’t necessarily say that this guy was unpredictable, but he did seem to be a little camera-shy.  Or maybe he was just frustrated by my lack of carrots.
