As I was going through my pictures trying to find one that shouted "Summer Fun" for I Heart Faces' monthly challenge, I noticed that I don't have anywhere near as many pictures of summer as I should. I wonder why that is. I have a hunch that it's because I was too busy doing "grown-up" things like editing pictures or cleaning the kitchen to go outside with my boys and maybe bring the camera along to capture some memories. Hmmm... Since I'm pretty sure the grown-up stuff isn't going anywhere and my boys are, I believe I need to do something about that. Lesson learned? I hope so. Here's one of the memories of my son and his friend that I did manage to capture this summer, though. I'm glad I did, too, since that innocence on their faces is bound to be chased away all too soon. To them at this moment, there's nothing as good as two buddies and a sandbox.
